Vladimir,

My research interests have gravitated towards using description logic reasoners to analyze web policies (e.g., WS-Poicy [1] or XACML) so I doubt that I'll have time to add new features to Pellet DL-safe (like builtins or new optimizations).

This is a very interesting subject. I read some of the papers mentioned
in the reference you gave a month ago and I found it a very good
approach. I've started to do something similar but using XACML. I've
managed to generated an ontology out of the XACML specifications
(attached) and my intention was to generate some sample RDF-based
policies and figure out how to better use Pellet for analyzing such
policies. Have you done some trials with XACML. Do you see any
advantages on using WS-Policy rather than XACML? Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Victor
